We love our T-FAL Toaster!
We love our T-FAL Toaster. We have owned a slightly different model of this toaster in white, for a number of years. Recently, we did some remodeling in our kitchen and changed all the appliances to black. Our white toaster stood out as the only white appliance left. I went to AMAZON.com and found almost the exact toaster in black, at a very reasonable price, and placed the order. There's nothing wrong with the white one, so we moved it to our guest house. Our guests will enjoy using it now. We even recommended the T-FAL toaster to my sister and brother-in-law years back and they have enjoyed using theirs as well. This seems to be a very reliable toaster.

Nice looking but a bit disappointing
I love the look of the toaster and the convienence of the slots, however, it doesnt toast the entire piece of bread properly at one toasting session. I bet tho, its awesome for bagels. I havent tried those yet, but it does have a setting for that and the size of the bagel would fit nicely. This toaster is NOT suited for specialty large loaf sizes. The slots are wide enough but not large enough overall.

Elements defective
I just received this toster and checked it out. During my testing, I found that 18 of the elements did not heat up. Fearing that the rest would fail, I wanted to return it for another. Instead of filing the complaint with Amazon, I felt I should go directly to the source, T-fal customer service. They told me that they would require me to send the "new" toaster back--they would fix it and return it to me but that would take a few weeks. What type of "customer service" is that for a company. repair a new toaster! I would then own a re-conditioned toaster and paid for a new one! Of course, I then went through Amazon, the best customer service I have ever delt with and I have been dealing with Amazon for a long time. Needless to say, T-Fal lost a customer. I will search for another brand.

Great Toster with a Greak Look
I really like this toaster the design is great for the price. I loved the curved top as it allows for easier access to the bread when its complete and it simple and not overly complicated to use. Its one negative and hence the 4 star is that due to that curve some times a corner of the toast does not get cooked correctly if it was an 1/2 inch deeper it would resolve this.

For the price you cannot go wrong.

Great Replacement!
This toaster is a replacement, of a previous TFAL toaster that i had for about 13yrs. i just started having problems with it 2 weeks ago then it finally just went out and stopped working. TFAL is a good brand that's why i bought another. i just hope it lasts as long as the other one did!! this toaster toast great, it toast evenly on both sides depending on what setting you have it on, setting 3 for us. anything lower it won't toast on both sides.after reading some of the other reviews, maybe they received a defective product, because mine works fine so far with no problem! i would recommend this toaster.
